Beautiful Jacobean country house with landscaped parkland and gardens providing educational facilities and public events throughout the year.

Godinton is one of the most important and fascinating historic houses in Kent. Over 600 years old, it remains a charming stately home containing a wealth of carved panelling, stained glass, collections of porcelain, pictures and furniture dating from the 14th century to the present day. Outside, the gardens with their formal topiary, pond and lawns, are glorious at every season, and there is an extensive walled kitchen garden laid with paths.

House open 2pm-5.30pm Fri, Sat and Sun (Good Friday to early Oct). Gardens open 2pm-5.30pm Thurs-Mon (mid-Mar to end Oct)
